How to display PDF files in browsers without the Acrobat plugin

If a similar question has already been submitted, I apologize for the duplicate.

Our intranet site has links to a large number of PDF files. But most of our users do not have a pdf plugin. Therefore, they could not see any of these files.

Installing PDF plugins for browsers on their machines has been ruled out. we don’t know why, but these may be some security considerations. We were asked to convert the entire list of pdf files to those similar to htmls.

Now I am looking for these options.

  • Find software that perfectly simulates PDF files for the corresponding html files (all types of PDF files are, for example, user manuals, product catalogs, statistical reports, etc.).
  • Write code several times to display pdf files inside the browser. Maybe like a scrub. I think scribd uses flash. I don’t think. Our intranet users also installed a flash plugin. If it can be done in .NET, it is much preferable.
  • Manually convert all these pdf files (about 200 files, they will add more) to HTML files.

Experts, please light my life. :)

Sounds like amazing user control! I did not have the opportunity to try myself, but I really wanted to know your feedback about this.
