Deflection using Core Graphics

I know that OpenGL has features that allow you to draw fog.

But how to draw fog (smoke) using Core Graphics? Is this a difficult task? And what are the concepts for implementing this task?

I am not aware of the built-in fog support in Core Graphics, except that Core Graphics can provide you access to the OpenGL window.

In a graphical perspective, the pattern of fog is very different from the drawing of smoke.
