Embedding fonts or switching to a secure font?

What is the best solution to embed font problems?

drink a lot of vodka and try to embed a custom font on the website or just leave this idea and use some kind of web safe font?

Embedding fonts is technically feasible these days using rules @font-face. You will need to provide fonts in both EOT format (for IE) and TTF / OTF (for everyone else, with WOFF in the future). See for example. here for some strategies to serve different browsers as smoothly as possible.
