Personal dictionaries in emacs flyspell-mode

Question

I would like to make flyspell aware of some of the words that I often use, for example, about other people's proper names, etc. But I do not want flyspell to think that this list is a complete dictionary; rather, I would like him to take the union of this list and his default dictionary.

How can i do this?

As I understand it, flyspell is a secondary on-the-fly mode that emphasizes spelling errors. It uses ispell (or what you set as ispell-program-name) to do the actual spelling.
