We see this when “linking” two video files together.
For example, we have an ad video that is segmented and a content file that is also segmented. We create a new file that simultaneously contains information about the segment of advertising and content. However, we see a problem when the content of the ad is truncated or the content begins to have problems with A / V synchronization. Both the ad and the content are segmented identically, segmenting 5 seconds. however, since the ads are variable in length, the result file may have left something like above the segment:
#EXTM3U
#EXT-X-TARGETDURATION:5
#EXT-X-MEDIA-SEQUENCE:0
#EXTINF:5,
fileSequence6.ts
#EXTINF:5,
fileSequence7.ts
#EXTINF:4,
fileSequence8.ts
#EXTINF:5,
fileSequence0.ts
#EXTINF:5,
fileSequence1.ts
#EXTINF:5,
fileSequence2.ts
#EXTINF:3,
fileSequence3.ts
Is this the right way to play 2 files one by one without deviations? should generate-option-plist be used in a playlist of 2 files?
