I am looking for a way to recognize a very specific set or images / characters using an Android device.
I do not mind this by taking a picture or scanning (not an actual scan, just hovering over the image, for example, how barcode readers work). Since I have never done this before, it is recommended that you specify specific Libs and directions on how things should work.
Note. I do not want to recognize barcodes, so do not point me to barcode libs if they do not support custom images, etc.
