Problem using \ LaTeX \ includegraphics with some PDF files

I noticed some strange effects when incorporating existing pdf graphics into my laTeX documents:

Most files work flawlessly, but some PDF files created on another machine (or from the Internet) cause the entire page on which they are embedded to be constantly distorted. I only notice the difference in comparison with each other, but as soon as you see it, this is obvious. The text layout seems a little broken, and when you zoom in, you can see it better.

I will try to take some screenshots for further development, but in the meantime:

Has anyone seen this before and how can I get rid of these distortions?

I had one case when a similar effect appeared, but it disappeared when printing. A.

Almost certainly, mica is right, and that is the problem of viewing a PDF file.

Guess: if the problem is with the label (distorted or missing letters and characters), it may be a problem with non-embedded fonts, where your PDF viewer makes poor replacements for the fonts in the document. The first thing to see is a list of fonts in the document, and then what your viewer will look for when he displays the document. You may have fonts that your PDF viewer cannot find.

I believe that your problem may be related to the message here . My workaround is to open the files in inkscape and when saving as a PDF rendering of the fonts as paths (tickbox option).
