Does window.onload indicate all content is loaded?

I have a page with an IFrame. There are six frames in this Iframe. When i use

window.onload

or

document.observe(window, 'load', func) // of PrototypeJs,

Does this mean that the entire contents of the contents of the iframe and the other 6 iframes are loaded?

If the answer does not match, then how can I be sure that all my iframes data is loaded.

[There is no src in the iframe inside the iframe. I populate these iframes from the contents of the database.]

Thank.

The resources in iframe / frames live in their own context, and you cannot use window.onload in the parent document. Each document in frames should inform the parent document that they have loaded.

- isLoaded , , window.onload , isLoaded . setInterval , , , , .
