I am interested in people and opinions on approaches to third-party extensibility in web applications and application expansion in a heterogeneous corporate environment. Consider a Salesforce style app. Users want to be able to distribute the Salesforce application and exchange data / features outside of Salesforce.
Are these different tasks? Should internal and external extensibility be carried out using the same approach? Are there any open frames that provide a good starting point?

but I'm interested in other options or suggestions. And the Facebook application platform and application platform Yahoo roughly correspond to the bill, but not open. Is hiring a new solution a good / bad idea?
