I know that Outlook.ApointmentItem.Body supports only plain text formats. But my requirement is to send the Assignment using the Html body. I am currently saving the ApointmentItem as an ics file and attaching it to the email. This works, but the result I'm looking for is that it is received as a meeting request. That is, I receive this email, I can see the body and be able to respond to the meeting request. I tried redirecting AppointmentItem as vCal, but this does not work either. Am I going in the right direction?
thank
The only way to do this is to use system.mail.net and create your own ics. But Outlook, and possibly other email clients, still convert html to rtf.
Go to the new mail, change it to HTML in the "Formatting Text" section and on the same letter, put all the participants in the meeting and select the meeting schedule (again, from the same new mail)
