What is the difference between console and eclipse maven

I mean, is there a difference between a downloadable maven and manually installing / running from a single eclipse built into the eclipse plugin? The reason why I ask is that my project builds successfully in eclipse, but I get this annoying error when creating from the console mvn install, here is the error

Reason: Unable to find parent: net.oauth: oauth-parent for pro core ....

I can fix this by manually removing the parent tags from oauth pom and another pom .. and it will work successfully, is there anything else I can do to fix this? what could be the problem with the console? When the time comes to create a project, it will not be from the eclipse from the console .. thanks

EDIT

Is there a way to tell maven .. ok just ignore these errors and continue the build because it is obvious what eclipse does, since there is no repository in the repository parent-oauth-projectwhen the build finishes using eclipse.

While you can add an external maven installation and thus use the same build version inside Eclipse and on the command line, there may be differences for resolving the dependencies, as indicated in the note below:

So, if the versions are different from each other, we can assume that you have small differences in behavior (but I would be very surprised to be honest).
