JavaScript Chart Library for Advanced Charting

Background:

Diabetic blood glucose analysis software typically has what is called a “daily modal” chart.

This type of chart is a line chart showing the time of day on the X axis, blood glucose readings on the Y axis, and this displays this for a given date range. So, for example, I see a chart of my daughter readings, say, last week - with daily readings superimposed on a single chart (this is the key - overlaying daily blood glucose readings at the same time, daily chart). This is the best way to see trends in the time of day. If there is, in addition, a trend line showing the average values of the time of day for a given period of time, even better.

Question:

Does anyone know of a JavaScript chart library that would allow me to build such a chart? I am wondering if Flot or the Google visualization API works, for example?

Thanks in advance
