Customizing the SpringSource wth AspectJ Toolkit

Question

How to set up a SpringSource Tool Suite (version 2.3.0) Spring project to accept a file .aj(AspectJ)?

It does not currently recognize the file .aj.

And I cannot add the file *.ajbecause it is a Spring project, not an AspectJ project.

Project

Spring can be an AspectJ project at the same time.

To configure a project as AspectJ, right-click the project in Eclipse, select Configure/Convert To AspectJ project. Alternatively, you can enable Spring Aspect Tooling by selectingSpring Tools/Enable Spring Aspect Tooling
