Shape Recognition Algorithms / Code for Java

Question

I am looking for a shape recognition tool for Java. In particular, I would like to find the Java library that provided the image file (in jpeg, bmp, gif format or in any common image file format), gives me information about regular shapes (rectangles, lines, etc.) found in images and their coordinates.

In previous questions on this topic, I saw recommendations for C #, but I could not find any implementation in Java.

Have you looked at OpenCV? I believe there are Java wrappers for it. What exactly are you trying to achieve?
