First of all, I must say that I am more a programmer than a designer, so my knowledge and ability to develop a "bizarre" interface do not match the usual web designer.
I often find myself in situations like clients want me to finish my blog - or ASAP mini-CMS. And their first advantage was usually WordPress. Don’t be offended, but I feel that it’s a little difficult for me to quickly create a topic to precisely meet their demand.
I know that I can buy or just take some topics from the Internet, but it will not always be.
Now that there is a couple of WordPress theme FRAMEWORKS there, getting down to this official link , I wonder if any of you have experienced with any of them, and how do you feel about this?
Personally, I just downloaded and tried one of them, which is called Thematic . Spent one night struggling to set up, but, unfortunately, I was kind of lost in the maze of files ...
Perhaps I should consult some books on WordPress theme development, but if you can share your experience with me, that would be very appreciated. Thank you very much in advance!
