Css - drop-down list (option, select)

Question

I was able to control the width of the option, etc.

However, you know that the selected option is highlighted, making the default color blue and text color. This blue background does not cover the entire width of the selected parameter. However, a blue background covers the entire text. However, I would like it to cover the entire width of the option.
