Is the role of business intelligence redundant in real-life Agile projects?

In a really agile project where a business acts as the owner of a product, is there still a role for business analytics? The product owner will perform functional testing as soon as the user’s story is created, and document and prioritize user stories.

In this case, which I have to add, I have not tested yet, and with high-performance, self-motivated developers, am I trying my best to see the role of a traditional business analyst?
