How to change the size of the space before the chapter title in LaTeX?

Question

I worked with tetex on Zenwalk, and now when I compile my report with texlive, the behavior is a little different.

I would like my bibliography to correspond to one page, as before, and I just need to change the space in front of the heading of the bibliography chapter.

Do you know how I can do this?

If you just want to reduce the top margin on the link page, you can set the command before the \bibliography{}command \vspace*{}. This will make the link link to the page. For instance:

\vspace*{-2cm}
\bibliographystyle{/..../bst-files/econometrica_v2}
\bibliography{/home/.../econometrics}
