Which <meta> tags are useful and which are not?

How many total tags are <meta>available in X / HTML and what should be used and which not?

Are there any pros to use all other meta tags other than the meta description?

Note. Google does not give any meta value to keywords.

From an SEO perspective, the description meta tag is what most search engines usually show in search results, so it’s very important.

All mega tags are useful, you just use them when you need it. Also, the link you provided does not say anything about usefulness or shortcomings or meta tags.

Use only the meta tags that you need, do not add unnecessary tags to your pages. It also makes the page dirty and takes longer to load.
