Collaborative SOLR with multiple drawers

Question

I use multiple cores in SOLR to enable offline index statistics (and then using SWAP to replace the active kernel). I want to use the same solrconfig.xml file for both cores - can someone tell me where should I put this so that it can be picked up by SOLR?

I think I solved this ... just by specifying the same instance of Dir (but another dataDir) in confiugation in solr.xml
