Reverse Geocoding Using J2ME

My project runs on J2ME and requires that I get the current user address. I can get user coordinates using location. But how can I get the street address?

I know that google map does reverse geocoding. But how can I associate this with my application? And will there be any legal issues too?

Everyone is welcome any guide. Thank!!!

Kevin

There are legal issues with using Google Maps in J2ME applications. The Google Maps API can only be used in a browser.

. 10.8 : http://code.google.com/apis/maps/terms.html

Google Maps , IP-. . -, IP-. - .

Yahoo Maps T & Cs ip-. IP- -, . .

GeoCoding, - GeoNames, .

:

  • Google, HTTP- J2ME, Google XML, JSON HTTP-.
  • Parse this answer to get the location from an XML or JSON document.
    • For XML, I would suggest using kXML 1.2 Parser
    • To parse JSON using the json.org parser.

You can send me an email if you are still stuck with it, since already through this phase :). Email me at prateek.football@gmail.com
