Hudson-JIRA-Perforce Integration Issue

Question

I am considering using the HIRSON JIRA plugin to post a JIRA comment for each assembly. The SCM I use is perforce, which is already associated with JIRA tasks using perforce jobs. I see that the JIRA history (for example, PROJ-001) is visible through the perforce plugin when you click on the change list number in the build reports.

I am having problems connecting the Hudson JIRA plugin, as it seems to be waiting for the JIRA history in the change text, rather than using the job job task.

Note that manually adding a JIRA history to the changetext file is not an option for each commit, but I was wondering if there are any ideas that do not allow the JIRA plugin to be expanded.

Why don't you use Marvelution JIRA Hudson Integration ? I tried and it worked great.
