I am trying to integrate S3 with one of my content management systems. The idea is that I want to have document management features.
The system is completely unique in that it processes thousands of sites, so each site can have any number of authors or authors who have permission to upload documents and files to the site’s document management module.
I have not yet coded the document management module, but I would like to get started right away. I know that there are good developer tools for S3, but I would really like to make it even easier and even use third-party open source products if they are licensed for resale. Does anyone know about any Java applications, for example, which makes loading on S3 easier, or should I just focus on developing something designed for my specific use cases.
I am doing a lot of interface design, but for this I am really not sure how to handle this, so I would also appreciate it if people could provide examples of sites that have good support for document management and make it look easy. I don’t need something complicated, because of which, with incredibly complex workflow rules, I just want to create something so that site owners can publish documents, images, etc. Manage their versions, as well as a centralized bucket to add thematic sites - these are images.
