What subversion management software should / can we use for a small organization

I am new to subversive activities and we are trying to improve our workflow and create better flexibility.

So, what is the best subversion management software for us to use in this situation? We are a small group (from 1 to 3 programmers). The languages ​​we deal with are C # and Flex.

We tried VisualSVN server with TortoiseSVN, but do we have better / smaller / faster / ... solutions?

Could you suggest other configurations / software worth checking out?
