Adb cannot find my Android debugging device. What for?

  • I installed the Windows SDK Android SDK driver for Android Dev Phone 1
  • I turned on all debugging modes and stuff on the phone.
  • He even says ... USB debugging is connected.
  • When I print adb devices, it shows me only my emulator, not my phone.

It does not seem to recognize my Android phone as an adb device . Why is this?

The fastest way to restart the adb server is:

adb kill-server ; adb start-server
