When you create a new application, Cocoa Xcode creates MainMenu.xib for you with sets of predefined menu items (File, Edit, Format, View, etc.).
I am making a very simple application. I really do not need the menu items "Edit", "Format", "View". What is the best practice in this case. Should I delete or save them? It’s very strange for me that in such a simple application there is such a detailed main menu with a large number of disabled elements.
