Flash parser for html

Since I was working on this project for a friend of mine who is afraid to switch from HTML to flash, I realized that there might be a bridge between them. So I started working on a flash project that would capture HTML from my page and parse it to display it in a flash. Although I'm sure there are already resources for this, I thought SO experts might be prepared to suffer because of the logic of one user trying to develop this script.

So basically, I am not asking for an answer, I am asking for a step-by-step guide that could be published so that other people can see the logic of the destruction of this project. I think that would be really useful (not only for me, but also for those who want to know more about objects and oop).

So, as a thread between primarily Senocular and Rampage, it will be a thread where I will be a student asking questions in a logical stepwise fashion, and someone else (or someone else) could give guidance.

Let me know if you are interested, and I can start by publishing what I have already written. We can go from there, and I am sure that it will become insightful for everyone who reads it. If no one is interested, or who has no time or desire, no problem.

Regards,

Jase

A bit offtopic - Flashpaper can convert most HTML pages to swf format.

Given properly “disciplined” HTML, you can use the XML parser in the player for basic parsing. Are you really talking about writing HTML rendering in Flash? Or just the ability to dynamically extract information from HTML?
