Does SIFR support cross browser?

I have seen several sites that use SIFR, and I see benefits. I (quickly) looked at other similar plugins, but SIFR looks good. So is that good in terms of cross-browser compatibility?

I was part of a team that used SIFR in web application design in 2008, so we could get our own font for the headers.

It works normally most of the time, but we often run into problems when the SIFR text would be unnaturally wrapped.

An alternative, I mean, to check out Cufon for a while . Although many people like it, I can’t say it myself. It is definitely also worth a look before you decide on a solution.
