In a web application that I work with from time to time, there was a problem reading the text. The reason is that it includes passwords that will be read from or written to the web page. One of my co-workers pointed to Crystal font as one that is unambiguous ("l" and "1" are not confused, "0" and "O", etc.), but I'm sure it is not useful on the Internet . I understand that I will probably have to use a fallback strategy, but I'm looking for tips on which fonts are suitable for this purpose and, in particular, those fonts that may be available to users. In addition, links to resources on this topic will also be excellent. Thank!
Edit: People suggested a monospace as a readable web font. Can someone provide more information about the possible fonts that users may have, which may be better than monospace so that I can combine the fonts together to get the best possible result?
