I participate in the Engineering base class and we go through binary conversions. I can find the base 10 in binary or hexadecimal conversions very well, however, 8-bit floating point conversions kicked my ass, and I can’t find anything on the net that destroys it at n00b level and shows the steps? It is surprising if any gurus found anything on the Internet, which would be useful for this situation.
I have questions like 00101010 (8bfp) = what number is in the base 10
