Excel and C ++ Files

How can I read \ export data in a C ++ application to Excel files? I found the xlslib project, but it only compiles using MingW on Windows. My target platform is windows (MVS2008)

If you are stuck with unmanaged C ++ and you need to communicate directly with Excel, you will need COM automation interfaces. See MSDN Article Link Text

If you need the expressive power of a new managed interaction, I think you might need to wrap your C ++ code in an interop dll.
