JAX-WS timeout issue

I published the web service endpoint on the Sun Lightweight HTTP Server. The server works with ThreadPool executors to connect ( Executors.newCachedThreadPool()). I also use a regular web service client (also JAX-WS).

It seems that for each call that exceeds 5 minutes, the server (or client) terminates the current call flow and opens a new one. On the server, it looks like a new connection was established and an attempt was made to perform the same action.

This happens only once, which means that the “second call” can exceed 5 minutes.

Is there a default timeout to connect? Is there any way to configure it?
