I read some helpful posts here on SO about previous maven questions, I'm currently very interested in learning maven (because I like it, and because my boss requires me). I am reading [this] [1] book now, and I am working on my own examples. His book is simple, but it has some errors inside (trivial), but for a beginner like me it can be difficult to notice, as soon as he is noticed, it can be easily fixed. Is there any other book to better understand maven from top to bottom?
The second part of the question is about an example in this book, maybe simple explanations will solve my doubts.
Here is what I did a project simple-weatherin java that retrieves weather conditions from a Yahoo weather server, given a specific zip code that returns weather information.
Then I made "simple-webapp" (with maven, as well as above, which I forgot to mention about it), which is based on a web project that already has a default servlet already with maven and does nothing.
And I have several. parent-projectI want to combine these two projects into one, so I created pom.xml, which has 2 modules, 1 for receiving information (java project) and others for displaying it on the Internet (web application).
