Will C program for Windows 98 work on Windows 7?

I am executing this project, but there is a problem with the program.

we chose a C-based program that runs in window 98.

But we need to run this program in window 7. So will the same program work? if not, then what to do.

Just try: .. in the worst case, it won’t work and should not do anything harm .. in the best case it will function the same as in 98, and you are golden.
