Is it possible to uninstall an existing FREE application in the Android Market and download it again as a PAY application?

I have an application that I offer for free now. At some point I want to change it to a paid application.

The market does not allow a free application to become paid and does not allow you to pay for applications for payment at a price of $ 0.

So is it possible to simply remove the original application and then re-download it as a payment application? This is normal in my case if users are not notified of updates.

You might want to take a look at Section 3.3 of the Android Market Developer Distribution Agreement .

All you can do is remove the application from the market, rename the package and then download the (now paid) application under a new name.
