Application Development for Pocket PC / Windows Mobile 5

I need to develop an application for Motorola MC70 that runs Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.01.0478 (Pocket PC?).

I have no idea how to make an application for these devices ... I tested a regular exe that gave me the expected "x" invalid Pocket PC application ".

Is Visual Studio the only development method for these devices? I used Visual Studio in just 3 days in 2006 (for the C # .NET course). I have 4 years of experience with C ++, 12 years of (incomplete) experience with Delphi and 2+ years of experience in PHP.

  • Is Visual Studio the only development environment for Windows Mobile (if not, what are the alternatives)?
