(I know there was a similar question here: Nested iframes with Facebooker in an iframe application , but this fix does not seem to work)
I am currently developing an iframe application for Facebook in Rails using the Facebooker plugin. However, I get some weird cross-browser incompatibilities. The application works fine in Firefox and Chrome on my machine. In Internet Explorer, every time a link is clicked, a new frame appears inside the old one (so you get nested frames). On my friends machine, this also happens in Firefox. In Safari, I get a Rails error message.
I tried various fixes, including a workaround with Javascript, but nothing works.
Additional information: my application is located at apps.facebook.com/chinesevillebeta/ and downloads the page from www.chinese-ville.com. Oddly enough, when you visit www.chinese-ville.com, assuming you have a Facebook session, IE redirects you to Facebook, where the application appears in the iframe. Firefox and Chrome, on the other hand, just show you the application on their own, without iframes. This seems like a really weird cross-browser incompatibility that I could not find anywhere anywhere.
