Are third-party private APIs prohibited for the App Store approval process?

I'm about to finish my first iPhone app.

I have heard that applications are being rejected to use some private APIs.

I also use some private APIs such as ASIHTTPRequest, MBProgressViewHUD.

So tell me, these or any other private APIs that are rejected, for which I must be sure that I will not use them now or in future applications.

You can list them or simply tell how to take precautions when using private APIs.
