Delphi 6 IDE and applications running on Windows 7 64 bit?

I have a commercial application developed using Delphi 6. I developed it under Windows XP 32 bit, but I'm going to get a new development machine with a 64-bit version of Windows 7.

Will Delphi 6 install and work in a new environment?

The developed application also uses BDE, in Vista I could not get it to work at all, which means that my clients had to stay on windows xp. I do not want this to be the case for windows 7. Does BDE have problems working with Windows 7?
