How can I write XML from PowerPoint VBA?

I have another question. I need to develop a PowerPoint add-in (for versions 2003 and 2007) that will be installed on some users computers. He needs to keep track of some of the things they do when they give presentations, and then send me the results. This will be on the computers of people who are not under the control of the administrator (for example, sellers and other external people). The only thing I know for sure about my computers is that they will have PowerPoint. I think XML should be the easiest, MSXML, I believe, but this is a reference dll. Do I need to know what version of PowerPoint comes with, so that I can always be sure that someone has this on their computer?

Have done some checks. It looks like version 5, which is both in PowerPoint 2003 and PowerPoint 2007. You can find it here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/269238
