Installation wizard for my window-shaped application - or not?

Question

I am wondering why I need an installation wizard for my small Windows Forms application. No access to the database, just access to files on a shared network drive.

I saw a time when the executable is sent by email, copied to the desktop, and used.

In other cases, when the "installation wizard" is used to install the application.

What dictates whether this is necessary or not?

And if I want to use one - what do I need to add to my application for Windows forms?

If your program is a standalone application without dependencies and can run on the standard version of Windows 95, then you do not need to worry about customization;) But if your application has any external dependencies, then you want to spend some time tuning it.
