Why am I getting the exception "EDBClient: Mismatch in datapacket"?

Question

I often get this “EDBClient: datapacket mismatch” exception when I call ApplyUpdates on a specific ClientDataSet.

I can’t play back on my machine, and I think it started after the update in Delphi 2010, because this code has not been affected for a long time.

Additional information that I am not using midas.dll, I am compiling the MidasLib module with my project.
