Is there a way to have a quarter of the annual intervals in the timeline widget simulator?

When using the javascript timeline widget mapping , I see that there are intervals of the hour, day, week, month, year. Is there a quarter year time span?

I am trying to group events in Quarter1, Q2, Q3, Q4 in 2010.

The simile wiki contains some notes on how to add new spaces before Timeline.DateTime, editing date-time.jsand labelers.js. This will be one way to add support for a quarter of a year.
