How to create a MobileSubstrate plugin for iPhone?

I have a lot of googled on how to create a mobilesubstrate plugin for iPhone, but could not get any basic tutorial for this. Does anyone know how to do this? I am looking for a basic understanding of this.

This script automatically configures the iphone toolkit for you, runs on Mac OS X, thanks to @rpetrich. http://gist.github.com/403608

First, don’t forget apt-get remove iphone-gccon iphone before running this script on your Mac, if you do not want to collect header files from iphone sdk, follow the part of Darwin’s hand script, and I think you should be good.
