Visual Studio 2008 does not connect to SQL Server 2008

When I try to make a new data connection from Visual Studio 2008 to a database on SQL Server 2008, it fails. He says that he only supports SQL Server connections with SQL Server 2005.

What is missing in my installation? Or where should the settings change me?

You need to install the service pack for Visual Studio 2008.
