Context variable switching time

I just made some changes to the Linux context routine. Now I am faced with the following dilemma: context switching time is no longer deterministic, i.e. The runtime depends on disconnected applications.

Now I wonder what the negative consequences of this behavior can be. One potential error that I have identified is real-time applications. When I have inconsistent times for executing context switches, I assume this is not ideal. Are there any other issues that need to be considered?

Music and video players may have too much jitter with such a scheduler.
