JQuery External Parser RSS Feed?

Question

I was looking for a decent jQuery feed / XML parser and found good plugins like jFeed and jParse (among several others). None of these programs support retrieving an external feed, although I do this.

Quite accurately, this applies to the jQuery $ .ajax () method, and not to the plugins themselves (since they will be built from this).

Is there some hack I could use to override jQuery or the original version of JavaScript? Best would be the best plugin, but even the most popular ones did not support it.
