Jade Unit Testing

What design methods and strategies do people use for unit testing Jade applications? In particular, how do people usually go for Behaviors testing - which are closely related to the agent instance and the Jade environment? I know the JadeMX project , but it seems to be more focused on testing the system - in particular, messaging between collaborating agents.

JADE tends to abuse inheritance, which, as you rightly point out, leads (among other things) to highly developed, difficult to test behavior.
