Stylized radio buttons (jquery?)

I need the radio selection functionality, without style.

How can I style something (something) work like a radio button and record the input to the form?

I think they did, just hid the actual switches on the page, replacing them with fancy icons, images and text. Pressing these elements causes the switches to change behind the scenes.
