Can you get custom cut versions of jQuery and Sizzle?

JQuery is gradually getting bigger and bigger. But for me, 50% of the functionality is never used. For example, I never use wrap(), and I do not need live(). In addition to this, I never use most selectors.

Are there any projects that create smaller shorthand jquery library packages?

Not that I know, and probably for a good reason.

You may never use some of these things explicitly, but you may find that some functions that you are not using are used implicitly with the jQuery functions that you call.
